No More ADHD

In her new book, No More ADHD, 10 Steps To Help Improve Your Child`s Attention and Behavior WITHOUT Drugs, Dr. Mary Ann Block, top-selling author of the groundbreaking book, No More Ritalin, reveals the truth about the ADHD diagnosis and helps parents, step by step identify and improve their child`s true health and learning problems. Dr. Block takes the reader on a shocking journey behind the scenes of the medical profession to expose the origin of the ADHD label and explains how childrenâ??s attention and behavior symptoms can be the result of real and explainable health and learning problems.

While others are debating the pros and cons of the psychiatric drugging of children, Dr. Block has spent her medical career working in the trenches, helping to get children off these drugs and to keep them off. A mother who knows all too well how the medical system can fail a child, Dr. Block was compelled to go to medical school at the age of 39 to save her daughter after doctors made her child seriously ill with a wrong diagnosis and inappropriate use of drugs. Today she brings to her patients the understanding and knowledge of a physician and the sensitivity and respect of a parent. What Dr. Block learned as a mother and a physician is in this book and may help bring hope and comfort to other parents.

With the facts in hand and an understanding of the issues, this book may help to guide parents, step by step, to identify and improve their childâ??s health and learning problems and to a future with No More ADHD.

The A.D.D. Nutrition Solution: A Drug-Free 30 Day Plan

The first scientifically proven, effective, all-natural nutritional alternative to the much-prescribed drug Ritalin Attention deficit disorder is a nutritional deficiency, not a psychological condition. This is the revolutionary discovery Marcia Zimmerman made during her ten years of research as a nutritional biochemist. That conclusion led her to develop a diet that addresses the specific needs of the 17 million adults and children suffering from ADD. Her easy-to-follow thirty-day plan has been proven just as effective as Ritalin in relieving the symptoms of ADD.
Learn:
- How women should boost their nutrition before conception to prevent ADD in their children.
- Why boys are much likelier to be tagged as ADD than girls
- How to get a reliable ADD diagnosis Reasons why parents prefer a diet plan to prescription drugs for ADD children
- The effects of brain allergies on attention span
- Foods to avoid that may exacerbate ADD
- Fats and oils we all need to stay focused
- Calming effects of carbohydrates
- Concentration-enhancing protein
- Why to stay away from simple sugars

This important book will help us curb the epidemic growth of ADD in this country and change the way we treat those who have it now by addressing its source instead of merely treating its symptoms.

Dr. Bob’s Guide to Stop ADHD in 18 Days

This book is a simple guide to DIET change. You can see by reading the reviews there are many opinions about ADHD. Some will have you believe that it is a DISEASE and only MEDS can HELP!! The BOTTOM LINE is the FACT!!! DHA in the brain is critical for OPTIMAL BRAIN function. If you do not want to change you or your families diet do not PURCHASE the book. TRANS FAT interupts the creation of DHA, if for example you or your child eat peanut butter with TRANS fat, you will have long term challenges. Some have a problem with a NATURAL APPROACH, let me tell if meds were the answer you would not see so many looking for NATURAL options. Why a CHIROPRACTOR? The body works by nervous system function, when there is interuption in this communication like a USB port being disconnected the body will not function optimally. There is a chapter on spinal function, you will be amazed by what you will learn. Dr. Bob’s approach is simple, create the platform to create DHA by feeding the body correct nutrients, eliminating sugar for some, trans fat for others, dairy can be an issue. It is not uncommn for ADHD children to have ADHD parents. I know the book will make a difference. Write down what you and or your child eats, look at the labels; if you see a pattern of trans fat or partially hydrogenated oils you would be very wise to get the book and make changes. DB
